Job Summary
Client requested a collection of reusable Shopify templates with the demo experience showcased through a premium skincare brand.
Overview
My role was to create a content-agnostic, scalable Shopify template system that can extend across a wide range of e-commerce niches.
Rather than designing for a single use case, a broad spectrum of product identities informed the development of flexible, adaptable layouts.

Insight
To ground the design direction, I analyzed 9 successful e-commerce brands across cosmetic and skincare categories. The goal was to identify common structural patterns, effective UI components, and opportunities for modular reuse within a Shopify environment.
Each competitor was reviewed for layout structure, content hierarchy, and feature implementation. I documented recurring components and highlighted features that contributed to a premium user experience, while intentionally filtering out patterns that introduced visual clutter or unnecessary complexity.
Outcome
Early wireframes established a flexible layout framework, focusing on scalable content blocks and clear information structure.
These foundations were translated into high-fidelity designs that emphasized restraint, spacing, and visual consistency to achieve a cohesive, premium aesthetic across different use cases.

The final system was structured as a set of modular, reusable templates designed to support a wide range of product types while maintaining a consistent visual hierarchy.
